After what seemed like a long wait we finally picked Maisie up and brought her back home. Then the next day we packed her up and headed off to her first show.
'My Big Fat Dub Odyssey 2011' the SVWOC yearly show at Hooton lodge near Rotherham.
We had a great weekend in the sun and started to learn about Maisie and her foibles. Starting to put together a list of essentials we needed to add to our tent camping kit and the van (Vanessa's list was mainly fairy lights and fabrics).
Cooking outside on the Trangia was fine in the great weather but checking over the cunning Dormobile stove seat and organising an onboard water supply was moved to the top of the list. We also saw the people in the van next to us with a cool fold flat barbecue that looks like a great accessory for the summer.
